About Cursillo SA
Cursillo SA is part of the worldwide movement of Cursillo in the Catholic Church. It is led by the Worldwide Organisation of Cursillos in Christianity (OMCC).
Cursillo began in the 1940’s in Spain and has spread to all continents. The Cursillo is focussed on Jesus Christ, as Saviour and Lord. St Paul is its Patron Saint. The mission of Cursillo is the Church’s mission, it is fully Catholic, and obedient to the Magisterium. Cursillo has as its Spiritual Directors, the Bishop of the Diocese, and is obedient to his leadership, as well as Priests in each Diocese.
Popes Paul VI (1966) John Paul II (1980) and Francis (2015) mentioned Cursillo as one of the hopes for the Church. Click here to see Pope Francis’ address to Cursillo members at a world gathering in Rome.
The Cursillo Movement invites all members to impact their environment and help to build a world, founded on the rock of Christian love and friendship.
